​Our Story

Hi, I'm Keegan the dog obsessed photographer & this is my partner in crime/ worlds best bubble blower/ my amazing husband, Steve.

 

People always ask us how Floofy Studios began. I was already striving to become a full-time photographer and one day I came across a studio dog portrait online— I knew instantly, I had to try this. I went home and told Steve, and without hesitation, he was all in. We started our business in Vancouver, where I spent the first year and a half honing my skills as a dog photographer and growing our brand. Then came our first cross-country photoshoot tour in a rented RV — we fell in love with the lifestyle. Right after we got home, we bought our own motorhome, moved in full-time and spent nearly two years traveling across North America photographing dogs. Our two dogs at the time, Bruce & Susan, drove across Canada 9 times with us! Eventually, we moved back to our hometown, bought our dream house, and have been creating our own little farm sanctuary. Sadly Bruce crossed he rainbow bridge in May 2023. However our family has expanded quite a bit- we adopted Dori ,our street mutt, in 2024 & the cat distribution centre dropped off Flo & Denise. We also have recently become the proud parents of 10 chickens!
